Facta Non Verba - From Regional Grand Master
I am happy that another edition of our
quarterly magazine 'Ashlar' is being
published, showcasing the various activities
conducted by the Lodges at all the centres in
the Western Region which pertain to the
quarter from April 2026 to June 2026. This not
only provides material for the archives but
would inculcate amongst the Younger
Brethren a sense of
belonging toward our
Region.
Brethren, during this
quarter, the enthusiasm of
all the Lodges at various
Centers was great in
celebrating the Universal
Brotherhood Day, which
spread over a week /
fortnight around 24th June.
Many social projects were
undertaken by the Lodges,
and I am happy that the
main objective during this
year's Celebrations was to
"Make Masonry Visible".
An historical event took
place in Mumbai on 9th May

Friendship and Harmony No.27 celebrated its
sesquicentennial year under the able
leadership of R.W. Bro. M.S. Federal,
P.R.G.M. of Western India, as the Worshipful
Master in presence of our beloved
M.W.Bro.G.K. Selvarajan, O.S.M., M.W. the
Grand Master. The event was very well
attended by the Brethren. The Lodge
arranged for a free health check-up camp for
more than 150 participants from South
Mumbai. Also, an informative session on

Heart health was arranged by the Lodge for
the benefit of the Brethren from Mumbai. I
wish all the success to Lodge Friendship &
Harmony in their future end eavours.
Active Officer's Workshop was held in Pune
on 3rd and 4th October 2026 and it was very
well attended by the Active officers and the
interactive sessions benefited the
Participants. The highlight of
this workshop was the
guidance by a distinguished
Mason , R.W. Bro. V. Kesava
Rao, O.S.M. in all the
s e s s i o n s a n d i t w a s
appreciated by all. It was
really a treat for all of us and
great wealth of knowledge to
be cherished in years to
come.
I take this opportunity to
invite the Brethren to register
and attend the forthcoming
Special Meetings to be held
on 3rd & 4th October 2026 at
Raipur in large numbers.
I thank all my dear Brethren
of the Western Region for the
cooperation extended during
my tenure and I am sure the
same support from them in coming years.
